Meet Bridget. One of those rare gorgeous-in-everything yet surprisingly calm brides.

Aaron was also pretty amazing. Super friendly and hospitable (if that word applies at all to a groom and his wedding photographer).

The bride got ready for the wedding at her parent’s house. The house was amazing for photography – with really bright multi-colored walls that served as exciting backgrounds.

Bridget kissing her parrot. I kind of fell in love with the parrot and kind of had to work on myself in order to not sneak it into my bag with me : )

Bridget had a fun pack of bridesmaids that sported the navy blue bridesmaid dresses beautifully. On the right – the bridal bouquet. Kind of reminds me of my niece who collects elephants (something I helped her start).

The groom with his groomsmen. The jazz hands were NOT my idea ; ) In fact I didn’t even know this term before about 3 months ago (I know, I live under a rock).

This happens to be one of my favorite shots from the wedding. I think the bridesmaid was showing the pose she struck during the photoshoot to a groomsman.

Actually Bridget and Aaron chose to allocate a big chunk of time during their day to the actual photography. The whole group (including the parents, bridal party, me and my lighting assistant) went to the Delbarton Middle School in Morristown, NJ. It’s a magical place, and as you can see it was totally worth it.

Hors d’oeuvres at the cocktail hour included tuna tartar… mmm.

This is another on of my favorites from the wedding. The background is made up of “yellow flowers” right outside of Stone House at Stirling Ridge, a great space and restaurant in Warren, NJ. How adorable does Bridget look?

One of those images that I’ve been into : ) It just shows so much about our digital age and photographing habits… it’s real.

And instead of cake… they had cupcakes. Easy. Clean. Actually I’m pretty sure they had cake too… since I’m pretty sure they wanted to cut into something.
