Moscow
A few months ago I had an opportunity of stopping for a few days in Moscow (while travelling abroad). Here is an image from “Arbat” Street, which is a pedestrian walkway filled with street performers, and apparently lots of pigeons.
I don’t know if the white balance of the photos makes it apparent, but it was cold.
A few of my favorite images from my visit, although they are pretty different.
Police officer near subway stairs.
Russians are very (I mean VERY) into flowers. Flowers are brought almost by everyone to almost every occasion. My impression was that there were more flower stores than drug stores.
Arbat.
A woman at the phonebooth. I love the almost communist-style way that she is dressed and the play of the blue with orange colors.
The tea store.
Happy Thursday… and feel free to browse more of my photojournalistic style travel photography here!
