Lexie

Lexie is a 6 year old girl that lives two houses down the street from my niece. One day when my niece and I were playing badminton on the street near the little island of street, Lexie appeared from within the trees like a magical fairy, with her shy smile and bright clothes among the earthy natural tones of the mini forest around her.

When Lexie’s dad joined us, he informed me that Lexie not only dresses herself in bright, mismatched colors, but also takes drumming lessons (something that she insisted on doing from a very young age). I can sort of see her being a rock-star in this picture.. very clearly.

The day was beautiful, with diffused skies, with the sun about to set.
