Engagement shoot in Battery Park NY: Adi & David
I was psyched when Adi asked me to photograph her wedding. Adi is someone I used to work with in my past corporate life. She has a contagiously fun personality. She is awesome to talk with and really funny.
I'm going through a slight sun flare obsession phase. Discovering yet another photog[...]

Ta'ana - Children Photography
This little girl did amazingly for being a first-time model. I usually tell the parents at the beginning of the shoot to stay away from saying words like S-M-I-L-E or P-I-C-T-U-R-E (I spell it out so that the kids don't understand).
Fascinated with the sky.
This shoot was done at the Bota[...]
Engagement shoot: Angela and Jamie
I was booked by this bride and groom-to-be without actually meeting with them in person first (it was through a referral from a previous bride whose wedding I shot last summer). I was amazed when I met Angela and Jamie for our engagement shoot, because despite their telling me how awkward they are [...]
Wedding of Adam and Margie
A white photography studio
+ changing background lights
+ my new 85mm lens
= wedding photos that make me want to sing : )
It also didn't hurt that Adam and Margie were a very good looking couple with an awesome sense of fashion.

Yana and Ben: A mini engagement shoot!
Here are a few photos from a mini engagement shoot (which lasted only about 15 minutes) from last week!
Love Yana's eyes.
Oh the over-exposed black and white images. You make me happy.
Anything can be a background... even a beam.
Eden in a sea of stuffed toys: Children Photography
First of all, Eden is adorable. She welcomes you with open arms right away and repeats everything said by the adults around her in the most endearing, squeaky voice (modifying it a little with random syllables that are easier to pronounce). Second of all, I LOVE working with kids.
Squealin[...]
Just a few pretty pics
This mini photoshoot was based mainly around testing the expodisc that I recently acquired. Your can see me shooting in the image on the right (yes I know you can see me).
Loving the negative soace in this photo.
The expodisc performed pretty well, given the mixture of natural and incandesce[...]
Photographing babies in a lifestyle method.
Baby photography is not as easy as it might seem. The best time to take pictures is after their feeding, but then of course you have to pair that with good natural daylight. I wanted to do this shoot in a lifestyle genre of photography as opposed to a really posed baby shoot, where the baby is asle[...]
Elie Wiesel
Recently I saw Elie Wiesel at a convention and was really excited to take a few shots of him as he was talking to his fans after the lecture. I know I read "Night"... I might have read one or two other books by him but I can't remember them. Anyway, I'm a big big fan.
Fall at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY
A few things help me get through the winter.
These are:
1. the anticipation of an upcoming vacation to "warm the bones",
2. my old-school heating pad which I fill up with hot water (my apartment can be either really cold or really hot and I prefer not to sweat), and
3. memories (through pictur[...]
