Modestly glamorous

I love shooting friends who have gotten tired of fighting me and my camera off, and have just accepted the reality that they will be photographed.  Actually these particular friends like being photographed.  

I thought my friend came out stunning in this one. I love the relaxed yet rich expression on her face.

This one just screamed black and white at me, so that is how I made it. I was very pleased with how it came out and the sharp contrast really brought out her expressive eyes and eyelashes.

This photograph provoked many conversations and debates in my photography class – the different personalities and how they fit together.
