Rinat & Uri’s Engagement (Weizman Institute, Rehovot Israel)
As I prepare to shoot my first wedding in Israel, I have to share the engagement shoot of the lovely couple. Rinat and Uri love each other. They also love animals. And they have a lot of them. Let’s start with the birds that they are both holding at the entrance to their house.
Feel free to browse this post or view my engagement gallery here.
We will proceed to the dogs, of which they have three! As we were driving up to their house Uri warned me that the dogs will get very excited but that I should get scared. I assured Uri that I’m a big dog enthusiast and am fine with large, jumping animals. However when they opened the door and the three dogs ran out barking at me in baritone, I thought that maybe I’m not so brave after all. But they turned out to be super friendly in the end.
Uri makes Rinat laugh a lot. He is also a dog whisperer on the side of his regular day job.
Actually even the sign on the door to their house says “Rinat and Uri… and other animals”.
Rinat and Uri knew exactly where their engagement shoot should be, and I loved that. The Weizman Institute in Rehovot, Israel has rustic benches, brick walls, gardens of exotic flowers, and huge trees with knotted bark.
I love props. Rinat brought a lace umbrella with her to the shoot.
Using all natural lighting (along with Rinat’s natural beauty).
Let’s call this the courting shot : )
See you guys tomorrow!
