Heart murmur and other stories
As I sit at my computer editing the photos from Kyle and Theresa’s wedding, my heart skips a beat. Maybe it’s because I drank to much coffee, but very possibly (and most probably) it’s because of the expression in Kyle’s and Theresa’s faces when they look at each other. Their love is just so…. CONVINCING.
Years ago, they met each other on a train in Spain and then reconnected a year later. They are each other’s best friend. And they are adorable.

Black and white joy. This was a moment before they got into their poses – these are my favorite moments.
Walking into life together – this was taken after the ceremony, as they didn’t see each other before.
The hair flip. The fountain behind Theresa created a natural white blurry background. While struggling to not get soaked from the winds that would occasionally direct the mist straight at us, the wind flipped her hair in a way that made me personally very happy : )
I love the casual, delicate feel of this photo.

Theresa’s bridesmaids were the most naturally charming and beautiful bridesmaids I’ve ever encountered. Except for some instruction for the group shots, I really didn’t have to tell them to do a thing! I was stunned at their ease in front of the camera. More to come…
And then I got to the guys apartment. In contrast to the bridal suite, there was soccer watching, strong pats on backs and fumbling with boutineer that took about 70% of the time I was there. I don’t understand why people have to deal with really long, sharp needles on their wedding day. There must be an easier method. I felt bad for them, but couldn’t really help.
