An August wedding

This wedding was the last one I shot with my predecessor to my 5D Mark II camera that I currently use. For this and other reasons, I look back at this wedding with a lot of sentiment.

In the bridal suite. This happens to be one of my favorite images. The maid of honor had one of those personalities that grips you. She was warm, yet spunky; had a lot to say, but also knew when to keep her distance and cool. It seemed that the wedding would not be able to exist without her. Here she is on a cigarette break.

I thought the stairs created a beautiful backdrop for this groom and little boy.

You can see the kindness in the eyes of the father of the bride. The soft window light to his right wraps around his face to create this gentle image.

The boy's cute, warm, funny, unassuming personality really shows in this shot.

Someone at the door. Enough time for me to get the full length image of the bride and point out her long gown.

I feel that the boy's face is nicely framed with his blond hair, and the 2 necklaces. I also love his expression.
